So…I woke up not feeling so hot this morning, I have a sore throat and a cough. Ugh. So, no workout for me this morning…I hope it’s just allergies, but it doesn’t really feel like it.
Last night I got home and my mom had made turkey burgers for dinner along with baked beans and fruit salad. It was delicious!
After dinner my step-dad wanted to go for a walk, so I decided to tag along with him and my mom. It was a gorgeous night out, and it never hurts to burn off a few extra calories. I’m thinking maybe that is why I don’t feel so good today since there was a lot of flowers blooming along the walk. Here is a few pictures from the walk:
After the walk I made some Theraflu tea and went to bed. I love Theraflu…I feel like it really helps me sleep when I’m not feeling that well:
Dreams…
Last night I had a dream that I was at a party in a hotel room with Steven Tyler….really? Isn’t that weird? And he kissed me in the dream. I woke up this morning and didn’t know what to think. Dreams are just so odd. I would love to take a class and learn about how dreams work and how the brain affects them. What’s funny is I didn’t even watch American Idol last night! Too bad it wasn’t Bradley Cooper in my dream…or any of the New Kids on the Block! That would have been amazing J
Anywho…this morning for breakfast I had my usual Special K cereal with fat free milk. This is how I normally eat it:
Lunch: Leftover turkey burger and beans and fruit salad…it was just as delicious today as it was last night.
Tonight: I’m celebrating my friends birthday at BJ’s Brewery tonight! I won’t be drinking much since I have work tomorrow, but the dinner and company should be fun J
Good News:
My cousin made it back to his camp in Afghanistan yesterday afternoon. He talked with my aunt and uncle on Skype last night. I saw that he was on facebook and got to tell him that I loved him and missed him. He should be coming back to the states in the next few weeks, and hopefully won’t have to go back on a mission like that again. Keep praying…
Break is over...back to work.
