Well…it’s Monday again. It seems like the weekends just fly by! I was so busy that I feel like I got nothing done, but it was still a fun weekend.
I went on the hike…it turned out to be 8 miles instead of 6, which was hard, but I’m so proud of myself for doing it! I hung in there and made it to the top and back down. I even went in some bat caves…which is something that I never would have normally done. I’m trying to venture out and try new things…I need to make a bucket list, that way I have an idea of what I want to do and try in my lifetime J
Anyway, here are some pictures from the hike, I have more but just haven’t downloaded them yet:
We stopped for dinner after the hike at a place called “The 19th Hole” in Hollister, CA. It was pretty good and was a lot of fun.
I forgot to take a picture of my dinner before I started but this is what I left on my plate when I was done:
I’m trying to not eat as much so I only had a few fries and ½ of my chicken club sandwich.
On Sunday I helped out at my sister’s softball fundraiser…let’s just say it was an interesting day. It’s tiring being out there (both mentally and physically), due to someone that I have to be around that just isn’t healthy for me. I need to learn to put myself first and not want to be around people that don’t reciprocate the same feelings. It’s not healthy and I’m trying to take it one day at a time…baby steps. Then last night I went to dinner with my family, it was nice. I had grilled chicken tacos and a side salad. Then came the dreaded frozen yogurt trip…I knew this would be coming, so I was prepared. My family, including me, loves frozen yogurt…so we go quite a bit. Well, since I’m not eating chocolate or ice cream/frozen yogurt I knew that it was going to be tough when I had to sit and watch them eat it. Here is a pic of our table and their frozen yogurt…

Yep, I did it. I didn’t give in and I sat and watched them enjoy theirs. I’m actually proud of myself…and I made it through it J Way to go me!
Today’s meals:
Breakfast: Special K cereal with fat free milk (200 calories)
Lunch: Grilled Chicken quesadilla with a 6 ounce cup of greek yogurt with peanut butter mixed in.
Dinner: Will be a subway sandwich
