I’m feeling soooo much better today! It’s amazing how great life can be when you aren’t in pain all the time J It makes for an awesome day!
As I said yesterday, I went to dinner with a great friend at Chipotle. It was gorgeous outside, so we decided to eat out on their patio…we ended up sitting there for over 3 hours and catching up on our lives, it was nice. For dinner I ended up getting a salad with rice, chicken, black beans, salsa and cheese. I forgot to take a picture of it thought L It was delicious! So for the day yesterday, I ended up eating around 1350 calories…which is where I need to be on a day when I don’t work out, but I’ll review that later. Here are some pictures from dinner:
This morning I came into work around 9am because I have a late meeting that I’m staying until 7pm to attend. This is what I hit on the way to work today, good thing it only lasted for about 20 minutes, but it still added some time to my drive:
Breakfast: Special K with almonds and fat free milk
Lunch: Salad with 6 ounces of grilled chicken and topped with crasins, sliced almonds, apple and homemade Italian dressing. Here is a picture after I already ate most of it, so picture it with lots more lettuce J
Snack: Vanilla greek yogurt with 1 teaspoon of peanut butter mixed in it. Delicious!
Ok, so my health expert friend helped me figure out how many calories I need to eat a day in order to lose weight on days when I workout and days when I don’t workout. This is the breakdown:
Days I do workout: eat 1600-1700 calories a day depending on how hard I work and what I do.
Days I don’t workout: eat 1300-1400 calories a day
I’m going to try this out and see if the weight starts to come off…I know it will probably be slower than I want, but I should see some results in the next month.
