Ugly Weather...

I’m soooooo ready for summer and sunshine! I hate rain, storms, cloudiness, winter, etc. Ugh! This is what the sky looked like when I got home last night. It’s so ugly. I want some hot and sunny weather J

I want to talk a little bit about organization…but let’s get through dinner and breakfast first:

Dinner last night was a grilled pork chop with a baked potato (topped w/ butter spray and fat free sour cream) and some roasted asparagus and broccoli. I must say, it was pretty delicious. I did over-season the vegetables and put way too much garlic and herb on them…. Oh well…I still ate it.

Breakfast this morning is my new obsession from the blog world: Overnight Oats J
It looks gross, but it’s pretty delicious. All the healthy living blogs that I read have this for breakfast all the time, so I thought I would give it a try. I soaked ½ cup of oats in 1 cup of fat free milk and added 1 teaspoon of peanut butter and some crasins. I let it soak in the fridge all night and then mixed it and topped with a banana this morning. I think I like the cold “oatmeal” better than cooked/hot oatmeal…my sister even had some this morning, but I’m not sure she enjoyed it as much as I did J

Ok, now let’s talk about organization. I am the most unorganized person in the entire world.  I can never seem to find anything. I always think I’m going to put it in a “safe” place where I will be able to easily find it, but then I never remember where that place is at. It’s starting to get frustrating….and I need to change it. This started last night when I searched my entire house for my birth certificate, which I currently need, and I can’t find it anywhere. I know I recently just saw it and put it somewhere…but not a clue where that place is. How do I change this? They need to have adult classes that teach how to be more organized in life….I would be there in the front row. If anyone knows of any…let me know, but for now it looks like I’m going to have to go to the county hall of records and pay for a new copy of my birth certificate…seriously? I just did this last year. Ugh! Lesson learned…hopefully J

Lunch today: Leftover pork chop with broccoli and asparagus, along with an apple. Yummy J

Happy Day. Tomorrow I want to talk about the workout I have been doing in the mornings before work. J
